As you will all be aware, live performances are being cancelled. These are extraordinary times but fortunately for many people self-isolating or social distancing (as is absolutely vital to prevent an unmanageable crisis in the health system), there is the potential for huge connectivity with friends and family through the internet and access to music and all forms of art as well. I will be teaching online, posting videos of playing and with colleagues we are exploring the possibilities of live streaming performances, perhaps even of chamber music performed together but in separate places.
