After Craig Ogden’s success this summer when he performed with the London Tango Quintet, he was the perfect choice to launch our 2026 season with the dynamic and innovative guitar quartet Aquarelle. Craig will be performing a solo recital for the distinguished Jane Glover Concert Series at the Blake Theatre, Monmouth.
Earlier that day Craig will be working with young guitarists at Haberdashers’ Monmouth School in a masterclass.

Five internationally acclaimed musicians come together as the London Tango Quintet performing music by the legendary Astor Piazzolla interspersed with stunning instrumental solos.
In 1921 a tango scene in Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse propelled a young Rudolf Valentino to global stardom. Ever since, film makers have used the dance to express the tensions, hidden desires and threats of violence between their characters. The London Tango Quintet’s programme features tangos from the silver screen with Piazzolla’s Libertango and Oblivion and the golden era classics, La cumparsita and Por una cabeza.
