Craig Ogden is one of the greatest classical guitarists of our time, whose incredible career over three decades has included a stream of best-selling albums, appearances with the world’s finest orchestras and a constant presence on Classic FM, where he’s long been a favourite artist with the station’s listeners.  

This will be a rare opportunity to experience Craig as a soloist up-close in the intimacy of the Crucible Playhouse, performing guitar favourites from Spanish composers Rodrigo and Albeniz alongside the jazz talent of Django Reinhardt. Expect to be amazed by his incredible skills on the guitar, along with his warmth and sense of humour that charms every audience.

His versatility as a musician performing different genres including classical, tango and world music, has ensured he is in demand internationally. Miloš is a first prizewinner at international accordion competitions in Germany (Klingental), France (Grand Prix), Italy (Castelfidardo) and Denmark (Diremose Prisen).

Music at Stow, Stow-on-the-Wold, Cotswolds with the London Tango Quintet

Music at Stow in its current format, was established in 2014 when a group of music-loving locals got together with the aim of ‘bringing big names to a small town’. The setting, in the picturesque Cotswolds landscape of the Gloucestershire countryside, lends a perfect backdrop to a festival which brings world-class artists right into the heart of the local community.

The London Tango Quintet is a unique group of five internationally acclaimed musicians performing tango music at the highest level.

Music by the legendary Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla is interspersed with stunning instrumental solos. The result is an energetic, inspiring and thoroughly enjoyable evening of relaxed virtuosity.
