Playing the role of the orchestra, Miloš will accompany Craig in various transcriptions of Vivaldi’s gloriously atmospheric Lute Concertos in which you can almost see the sunlight glinting on the canals of Venice’s lagoons.
In addition, Craig and Miloš explore the Iberian peninsula and cross the South Atlantic to the home of the dance of passion – the tango!
An absolutely unique opportunity to hear a fascinating combination of instruments from two musicians at the top of their game.
Keep Music Playing LIVE – RNCM, Manchester
Join broadcaster and Classic FM presenter, John Suchet, for an evening of exclusive online performances and conversation with artists from across our talented RNCM family.
Featuring international concert pianist Alexandra Dariescu and renowned classical guitarist Craig Ogden, alongside an exciting programme of RNCM alumni and current students, Keep Music Playing LIVE is a celebration of music from across the RNCM community.
In addition to exclusive performances, we’ll also be giving you the opportunity to join the conversation, talking about how music making has changed during the pandemic and what the future holds for musicians and the RNCM as restrictions begin to ease.
The Keep Music Playing blog has been a welcome source of music, news and inspiration while we have been sadly closed to the public. It’s also been at the forefront of our fundraising campaign to counter the significant financial loses we’ve faced this past year. We’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for the College and are delighted to be able to create this very special live event, to celebrate extraordinary musicianship and the wonderful support we’ve received from our community.
